About the Center for Transplantation Science

Mission

The UCSD Center for Transplantation Science bridges basic science research in immunology, cell biology, regenerative medicine, microbiology, and pharmacology with the outstanding and rapidly growing clinical transplantation programs at UCSD and Rady Children's Hospital. The UCSD CTS facilitates discovery-based and clinically-applied research through technical laboratory support, clinical study management, and education.
