Pathology Research Focus
The overall theme and focus of the Department of Pathology is to elucidate the molecular basis and pathology of human disease.
The faculty is comprised of basic, translational and physician scientists that utilize the latest techniques in genomics, proteomics, cell biology, molecular biology and physiology to develop new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for a wide range of diseases, including cancer, neurological disease, microbial infection, and inflammatory disease.
