Research Focus
We are focused on discovering more effective ways of preventing breast cancer recurrence and metastasis, reducing deaths from this devastating disease.
Specifically, our studies examine the contribution of stem-like breast cancer cells to tumor progression. By investigating key cell survival and differentiation signaling pathways in these cells, we hope to identify critical vulnerabilities that we can exploit to prevent metastasis.
