aerial of UC San Diego campus

The immunology community at UC San Diego includes not only faculty from UCSD Biological Sciences, UCSD Bioengineering, and UCSD School of Medicine, but also from other research institutions in the La Jolla area, including the La Jolla Institute for Immunology, and Scripps Research Institute. Researchers from these institutes collaborate to foster a robust, supportive, and stimulating environment for immunology research. Our laboratory participates in several ways:

UCSD Program in Immunology (PII)

The Program in Immunology is a collaboration between UC San Diego and the La Jolla Institute for Immunology designed to leverage the significant expertise and resources of the institutions to foster cutting-edge research. This includes training Graduate Students, and a shared seminar series.Go to PII.

San Diego Center for Precision Immunotherapy (SDCPI)

The SDCPI is an academic center at UC San Diego Health that brings together faculty from UCSD, the La Jolla Institute for Immunology, and nearby institutions with the goal of promoting translation of immunology discoveries to clinical trials. Go to SDCPI.
